ABC-CLIO Teacher Ambassador Program
ABC-CLIO shares your mission to empower students and deepen their exploration of history with enduring questions and diverse, global perspectives. Now we can work together even more actively with ABC-CLIO’s Teacher Ambassador Program. We’re looking for middle and high school educators from the across the country who are passionate about student success, dedicated to growing and sharing their professional expertise with peers, and excited about collaborating to improve the educational materials available to their students.
As an ABC-CLIO Teacher Ambassador, you’ll have the opportunity to add your voice to ABC-CLIO’s student and educator databases through advising, providing feedback, and creating materials. Exactly what you’ll do will depend on your interests and expertise with a total commitment of about 5 hours per quarter.

Contributions can include:

  • Sharing ideas for teaching with the databases
  • Writing blog posts or articles for other educators
  • Reviewing and/or creating new student activities or lesson plans
  • Responding to surveys and participating in focus groups around product development, new content
    areas, trending issues in the classroom, and other related topics
  • Participating in a case study

Eligibility

ABC-CLIO’s Teacher Ambassador Program is open to all middle and high school social studies classroom teachers (grades 7-12) working in public, charter, independent, and alternative schools in the United States or U.S. territories.
