Students aren’t always ones to share how they’re feeling—at least, not with their teachers. But that doesn’t stop us from being committed to their emotional well-being, as well as their learning. And now, with students sequestered in their homes, we’re all really wondering how they are. More than just helping everyone prepare for AP exams and end-of-year projects, we’re all concerned about how our students are coping with the many changes to their everyday lives.

As we continue communicating with our students online, we can be more helpful than we might at first realize. Students may not be sharing with us, but we can share with them: starting with tips on how to stay emotionally healthy and strong during this difficult time.
