Carl A. Harvey II, MSED, MLS, is associate professor of school librarianship at Longwood University. He is the author of six professional books and countless articles, as well as coeditor of School Library Connection. He is a past president of the American Association of School Librarians, Indiana Library Federation, and the Association for Indiana Media Educators. Previously he was an elementary school librarian in Indiana, where his school received the National School Library Media Program of the Year award.

Audrey P. Church, PhD, is professor of school librarianship at Longwood University. She is the author of three books and countless articles. She is a past president of the American Association of School Librarians and the Virginia Educational Media Association. Previously she was a primary and high school librarian in Southside Virginia.
