Randell K. Schmidt, MLS, is head librarian at Gill St. Bernard's School in Gladstone, NJ. She is the lead author of ABC-CLIO's Lessons For A Scientific Literature Review: Guiding the Inquiry. Schmidt has 12 years of collaboration in guided inquiry research projects with 9th-grade students. She holds a bachelor's degree from Hanover College, a master of divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary, and a master of library science degree from Rutgers University.
