Author Info

Blanche Woolls is director and professor emerita of the iSchool at San Jose State University and professor emerita of the former School of Library and Information Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh. She is coauthor of School Library Manager and a number of other professional books. She is a past president of the American Association of School Librarians and recipient of its Distinguished Service Award. She is also a past president of the International Association of School Librarianship and the Beta Phi Mu International Honor Society.

Connie Hamner Williams was formerly a National Board Certified Teacher Librarian at Petaluma High School. She writes and blogs about libraries, primary sources, government information, and serendipity. She is past president of the California School Library Association and current cochair of ALA's Government Information for Children Committee, and a member of the California State Library Services Advisory.
