Author Info

Carl A. Harvey II is an instructor of school librarianship at Longwood University in Farmville, VA. Previously, he was an elementary school librarian for 17 years in Indiana. He is a past-president of the American Association of School Librarians, Indiana Library Federation, and Association for Indiana Media Educators. His published works include Leading the Common Core Initiative: A Guide for K–5 School Librarians (coauthored with Linda Mills); The Library Media Specialist in the Writing Process (coauthored with Marge Cox and Susan Page); No School Library Left Behind: School Improvement and the Media Specialist; The 21st Century Elementary School Library Media Program; and Adult Learners: Professional Development and the School Librarian, all published by ABC-CLIO.
