Alison Hatch, PhD, is associate professor of sociology and gender studies at Armstrong State University, Savannah, GA. An expert on gender-based violence, she has created a university sexual assault awareness and bystander intervention program. Additionally, she has written and presented on the effectiveness of bystander intervention programs, teaching about gender violence, and faculty roles in mandatory reporting.
