This series explores social problems and issues of teenagers through contemporary young adult literature. Each volume in the series is devoted to a general area of problems for teenagers: family issues, identity issues, societal issues, abuse issues, health issues, and end-of-life issues. The volumes provide information for teenagers, parents, teachers and others working with young adults by exploring particular issues through fictional characters.
