ABC-CLIO is seeking a librarian experienced in developing and running programs to assist different academic users. We’re seeking an outgoing and energetic person who wants to help tens of thousands of students and faculty in their learning, teaching, and research. We need a proven leader to develop a bibliographic information literacy and support program and take it national over the next few years. You’ll work with college faculty, graduate students, and librarians to improve access to and utilization of ABC-CLIO’s expanding electronic resources. You’ll set up on-site and web based training programs on product usage, manage internal and external trainers, and develop ongoing relationships with faculty to drive faculty sponsored usage. Strong background in advocating and implementing programs to build product usage is required. Previous experience working on library and campus projects with a significant user experience design component desirable. Demonstrable initiative and drive along with prior experience with user groups, project management and training is required.
