Edith Wen-Chu Chen is associate professor in the Asian American Studies Department at California State University, Northridge. Previously she was the editor and contributor with Glenn Omatsu for Teaching about Asian Pacific Americans: Effective Activities, Strategies, and Assignments for Classrooms and Communities.

Grace J. Yoo is professor of Asian American studies at San Francisco State University. She is an applied researcher who has done extensive research on health and social problems impacting Asian Americans. Her research has been published in wide variety of interdisciplinary scholarly journals such as AAPI Nexus, Journal of Immigration and Refugee Studies, Journal of Gerontology, and Supportive Care in Cancer.
