Using Custom Research Lists in Release 2.0 of
Your ABC-CLIO Online Databases
The ability to create custom lists of materials found in the ABC-CLIO databases is one of our most popular features. With ABC-CLIO's Research Lists, users can store a link to a set of database resources that can be consulted again and again by staff and students—helping to save time and focus student research.
Research List Conversion in Release 2.0
On December 21, your subscription to the ABC-CLIO online databases will be automatically upgraded from Release 1.0 to 2.0.
If you have developed Research Lists in Release 1.0 of your databases, they will be converted to work with Release 2.0. Our editorial staff has matched items, creating links within each of your Research Lists to the same or similar material.
In some cases, restructuring of database information meant that we were unable to convert a particular item in a Research List. If one of your list items was not converted, you will see a message at the top of the screen after selecting the “Edit” button next to one of your Research Lists. You can then click a link to view which items did not convert. The image at left shows where to access the link in Release 2.0.
