ABC-CLIO Announces Winners of the 2001 Student Bibliography Award

SANTA BARBARA, Calif.—May 2001— ABC-CLIO, the award-winning, independent reference publisher, today announced the winners of the First Annual Student Bibliography Award, sponsored by the Association for the Bibliography of History (ABH) and ABC-CLIO.

To encourage historical scholarship and promote the importance of bibliographic research, the ABH and ABC-CLIO, the publisher of America: History and Life and Historical Abstracts, sponsor this annual series of awards for outstanding bibliographic historical research by undergraduate students.

Prizes of $250 were awarded to the six students who wrote outstanding bibliographies in each of the historical categories below.
