Customers Gain Convenience and Sourcing Options with ABC-CLIO eBooks

Santa Barbara, CA — September 8, 2006 — ABC-CLIO, the award-winning history reference publisher, announces the formation of eBook distributor partnerships with Ebook Library and MyiLibrary. This move offers added convenience and sourcing options for their customers, who can now continue to purchase eBooks directly through ABC-CLIO, from either of these new distributor partners, or from NetLibrary, another distributor that has been offering ABC-CLIO's ebook titles.

With over 500 eBook titles to choose from, ABC-CLIO offers a premier collection of history reference sources that includes award-winning encyclopedias, handbooks, dictionaries, and guides. Subject areas cover American and world history, current issues, military history, cultural geography, folklore and mythology, history of science, technology, and environment, and history of religion.

“ABC-CLIO's award-winning titles are an excellent addition to our collection, adding particular strength to our social sciences selection,” said Kari Paulson, President of Ebook Library. “ABC-CLIO has been a strong supporter of ebook technologies and early adopter of the digital medium. We are delighted with this new partnership and to be able to supply ABC-CLIO titles to our library customers.”

The entire catalog of ABC-CLIO titles is now available through Ebook Library, MyiLibrary, or NetLibrary. All three distributors offer versatile eContent platforms that contain continually updated catalogs of eBooks.
