National History Day
ABC-CLIO is proud to work with this award-winning organization in fostering the success of tomorrow’s citizens and leaders.
National History Day (NHD) provides millions of elementary and secondary school students an opportunity to relive and reinterpret history, and then use their creativity to express what they’ve learned. Participation in the NHD contest builds students’ abilities to research, think critically, communicate effectively, and present ideas—all skills critical to their future academic and professional careers.
