Carl A. Harvey II named AASL president-elect

Carl A. Harvey II, school librarian for North Elementary School in Noblesville, Indiana, has been elected president-elect of the American Association of School Librarians (AASL). Harvey is on the advisory board for both Library Media Connection and School Library Monthly, and he is also the author of two Linworth books, No School Library Left Behind: Leadership, School Improvement, and the Media Specialist(2008) and The 21st Century Elementary Library Media Program(2009).
