Author Info

G. Edward Evans is a renowned Fulbright scholar, former university librarian, author, consultant, and supervisor of the Harold S. Colton Memorial Library and Archives, Flagstaff, Arizona.

Sheila S. Intner is professor emeritus, Simmons College's Graduate School of Library and Information Science at Mount Holyoke College, South Hadley, MA. She has received several awards, including ALA's Margaret Mann Citation Award for outstanding contributions to education for cataloging and classification.

Jean Weihs is a consultant, Technical Services Group, Toronto, Ontario. She has received over ten national and international awards including the Margaret Mann Citation in Cataloging and Classification and was the first recipient of the John Comaromi Lectureship. She represented the Canadian Library Association on the Joint Steering Committee for Revision of AACR for nine years and was its chair for six years.
